We are living in the era of products and services, digitalization, and technology. Stores Department is flooded with a number of products. We will see advertisements and promotions everywhere and that creates the space in your life that you never need earlier.

When you will go to any mall and for shopping, you may have a list but you will end up with a lot of products that you never planned to buy. Paying card or online payment will always allow buying that product. It is psychological fact when we pay money by cash, we feel how much money we are spending, but with cards, we easily pay that time and at the end of the month, we have a number of bills to pay.

In my experience, earlier I have also bought many things that I don’t need and was attracted by many distractions in my life. After transforming my life into simple living and high thinking, I became more productive, focused, and living a meaningful life.

Understand the fact we will see many things in the shopping center, businesses are running on this policy, the more they will show the more consumer will buy. As a result, businessmen are becoming richer and average people are always broke and chasing money.

I have seen here many garage sales, and that makes me think that people bought many things that they don’t need but like and wish for. As a result, they have spent more money which they could use wisely.

People who buy things to show off others are always broke and pay the bills. This is a time and energy stealer that they can use in more productive things. Everything has a price if you are using things that are in excess you are depriving others who really need them. The products and the other material things if used more than you need will cost you many ways-

  • It drains your time and energy
  • It makes you unproductive
  • It makes you pay more bills
  • It consumes our Natural resources,
  • It deprives others who really need it.

It’s not only about the only material things but anything that you are using in excess that you need will cost you indirectly a lot.

Now in the US, recession doesn’t come because of any situation. It is the result of money flew in Covid Time and that increased more purchasing power, as a result, it inflation, gas & food price are increasing and interest rates are very high and the stock market is going down.

In ancient times, people were struggling to earn the basic things for life but still were happy and satisfied with their life. Now people have tons of things in excess of what they really need, still struggling, frustrated, and draining their energy in maintaining them.

A wealthy person is not the one who has a collection of many things but the one who lives simple and meaningful life and has abundance in relation, love, health, and money.

When you will see warren Buffet, he is one of the richest people in the world, He still lives in the home he first purchased and sticks with a simple car until it is not fit for the road.

Famous Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is working in Hollywood since he is childhood but is great in favor of living a simple life. Plain living and high thinking should be your goal. Learn to carry all the conditions of happiness within yourself by meditating and attaining your consciousness to the ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Joy, which is God. Your happiness should never be subject to any outside influence. Whatever your environment is, don’t allow your inner peace to be touched by it. — Paramahansa Yogananda

Mahatma Gandhi was one of the greatest examples. He struggled his whole life for independence in plain clothes and minimized his need. He respected nature and great advocate to minimize natural resources.

Mother Teresa was famous for helping a number of poor people and opened missionary of charity across the world. She spent her whole life simply living in a small room and simple clothes.

The Bottom line is that we should not waste our life buying more material things than we need, but use a meaningful life, live our purpose and think consciously when we buy things, and preserve natural resources with minimal use for a sustainable environment for the future generations.
